1. Services Provided

Real Geeks provides a wide range of services, including but not limited to:

  • Hardware diagnostics and repairs

  • Laptop and desktop upgrades

  • Software troubleshooting and installation

  • Virus, spyware, and malware removal

  • Data backup and recovery services

  • Network and Wi-Fi support

  • Custom-built PC consultations

2. Booking and Appointments

  • Appointments with Real Geeks can be scheduled by phone, email, or through our website.

  • We may reschedule or cancel appointments due to technical or staffing issues.

  • You must provide the technician with all necessary passwords and physical access to the device.

Payments

  • All Real Geeks services must be paid for in full at the time of completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, EFTPOS, and direct bank transfers.

  • A transparent call-out fee applies to onsite visits and will be disclosed in advance.

  • No additional charges will be incurred without customer approval.

4. Diagnostic Fees

At Real Geeks, we provide a detailed and transparent diagnostic process to identify issues with your device accurately. A non-refundable diagnostic fee may apply if you decide not to proceed with the recommended service after receiving a quote. This fee covers the time and expertise of our certified technicians in assessing the condition of your computer, laptop, or device.

However, if you choose to go ahead with the repair service provided by Real Geeks, the diagnostic fee will either be waived or credited towards your final invoice, depending on the nature of the service.

5. Service Warranty

We offer a 1-year warranty on all workmanship performed by Real Geeks technicians.
Manufacturer warranties on parts may differ and are governed by the supplier’s policies.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Virus-infected systems after service

  • Accidental or physical damage

  • User modifications or misuse

6. Data Loss and Backup

Real Geek handles all devices with care. However:

  • We are not responsible for data loss

  • You are strongly advised to back up your data

  • Data recovery is not guaranteed and depends on device condition

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • Real Geeks is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including data loss

  • Our liability is limited to a refund or re-performance of services, as per Australian Consumer Law (DoFollow)

8. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer of Real Geek, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and lawful information

  • Disclose any unlicensed software

  • Collect your device within 30 days (storage fees may apply thereafter)

9. Remote Support

When requesting remote support:

  • You grant Real Geeks permission to access your system securely

  • You must be available during the session

  • Sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and data protection

10. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

• Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
• Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.

11. Changes to Terms

Real Geeks reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of our services means acceptance of the latest terms.
